Is Work Exciting?

The world is mourning Steve Jobs for all of his accomplishments that have improved so many lives.

He was obviously passionate about his career and the results speak for themselves.

Here is a quote from a speech he gave to the graduating class at Stanford in 2005. At this time , he had already been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.”

I have loved my career in construction. It is a business that will always be needed and each job is different and unique. I highly recommend a construction career.
