Doesn't it always impress you when you see somebody persevere under very difficult conditions and still reach their goal? I have been so impressed by the perseverance of one of the young men training at the gym where I workout that I made a point of getting to know him and ultimately hired him to be on our team. He has turned out to be one of our superstars!
Anytime someone exhibits perseverance in work, play, improving personal habits,etc, that person will very likely have perseverance in whatever life throws at him. That is the kind of person people and companies want to associate with.
